Church Membership
Therefore encourage on another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:11)
0ur Perception About The Church
Jesus Christ is the founder of church and no power of darkness will ever be victorious over the church. No man can lay another foundation without Him. The church is a global Godly family having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesian 2:20-22) The church should be radiant, without spot, or wrinkle or any other blemish because God himself is holy. “Church” does not mean a physical building or organization; the original Greek word “Ecclesia” meant “a gathering assembly” and that is what God designed the church to be- a group of fellow believers who comprises to be a part of body of Christ where Christ himself is the Head. (Ephesians 5:23) The church is also a bride of Christ and every day we embellish ourselves through His Word ensure the discipline and readiness in holiness until the Christ returns. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the founder of church. (Matthew 16:18, 1 Corinthians 3:11)
Why is Church Membership Important?
Church is not a house; it is a home where you belong so becoming a church member means embracing the truth of living your life for one another exhorting the body of Christ. (Corinthians 12:21-26) This helps to keep the unity among the fellow believers to work for one common goal. We believe that Church membership is biblical which implies to submission of believers to the Christ, the head of the church and to the pastors and leaders of the church.
