Pastor Heera Rai

Pastor Heera Rai was born in a Hindu family in Bhutan  in 1979. In 1992, he left the country and lived a refugee life in Nepal. He grew up and completed his schooling in the refugee camp. He pursued the Bachelor of science in Tri-Chandra College, Kathmandu.

He is very passionate about music and his  passion towards music led him to Christ and he gave his life to Christ at tender age of 13. His ministerial journey started as a Sunday school teacher in mid 90s and he was involved in many Gospel crusades in Nepal and led many to Christ. He was a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, worship leader that gave a strong foundation for his pastoral ministry.

He has been serving as an associate pastor and leading the worship in the church since 2014. He is also actively involved in youth ministry for mentoring the youths for their spiritual growth and development. He also oversees the digital and technological needs of the church and coordinates with board for the fulfillment.

He is a former president of of Bhutanese Nepalese Christian Assemblies of Canada (2016-2022) and currently serving as a secretary for the new term 2023-2027.

He was immigrated to Canada in 2011 with all his family and he is a settlement worker by profession. He and his beautiful wife, Tulasi have been married since 2008 and they are proud parents of two daughters, Evelyn(10) and Evangelyn(7).
